Weekend Urban (at home) Study, Practice and Realise Retreats.
These Urban Retreats are intended to support and encourage Sangha, create conditions for deeper and more intensive Dharma study and practice, reflecting on it in daily life and, crucially to support and encourage practicing the Dharma in every aspect of life. Themes will vary, the programme will be simple and include: open and closing dedication, meditation (on and off the cushion), silence, study, reflection, conversation, eating together and time to not do anything.
Who can apply
Mitras and Mitras who have asked for Ordination (GFR Mitras Go for Refuge)
Those who have completed 'The Individual, the Group and the Community' study and practice weekend.
Everyone attending must have a regular meditation practice (on or off the cushion) and be familliar with the Mindfulness of Breathing and The Metta Bhavana Meditation practices, as taught within Triratna. Everyone must be able to attend both days and everyone is encouraged to reflect on the themes relevance in whatever their lives involve over the course of the weekend.

These are small retreats that usually happen in a small venue. Sometimes this is in someones home and sometimes a hired (often community) space.
Retreats are offered up to four times a year with costs varying depending on the venue. We work it out on the basis of covering, breaking even on our outgoings. There is an option when you book to provide Dana (above costs) for those who are able and want to.
From time to time folks who are involved in Stow Sangha and Triratna MeetUp and Meditate together in Walthamstow for a few hours.
